History Makers
History Makers was previously known as Teens Camp
History Makers is a residential camp for youth in years 7 to 10.
Who We Are
We are a group of Christians who are passionate about reaching out to young people and telling them about the love of Jesus Christ.
What We Do
We gather together for six days in the summer in the south downs to hang out, play games and learn more about God. Throughout the week we have morning and evening studies or seminars about relevant issues that affect our lives. We also play many games throughout the week and there are many activities to get involved in. Each year we see youth return because they have enjoyed their time the previous year, as well as seeing many new faces because they all want to bring their friends!
Why We Do It
We run History Makers every year because we believe in making and maintaining relationships. History Makers is an amazing place to meet up with distant friends or make brand new ones! It has a relaxed atmosphere to allow strong friendships to be formed. But we also believe that it is important to provide a place to build upon the relationship we have with God. It is a safe place where people can be themselves, build relationships and enjoy being around like minded people that are the same age.
Where We Do It
History Makers is run by Children Worldwide and is based at a centre called Dalesdown in the heart of the Sussex Downs, only 10 minutes drive from Horsham.
